In partnership with les Alliances pour la solidarité and the ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale and the Table d’Éducation de l’Outaouais WQ Literacy Council seeks to increase the literacy level of struggling English-speaking readers in grades 1 and 2 through its Reading Buddies program.

WQLC is working in collaboration with the Western Quebec School Board schools to identify reluctant and struggling readers and pair them with a trained volunteer Reading Buddy.
